So, I made this graph and I'm fairly certain it should tell me something about Adrian Gonzalez and his "true" EQA. I'll see if I can figure out what that is later. For now, well, it's a pretty graph.
Looks like it's saying he's a .250 EQA hitter ... which for now, seems about right ... he might still improve ... he might only decline ... he's seems worth giving a good chance to ...
Wonder how he comp's to Derrek Lee at the same age?
DLee got his 1st cup o' coffee in '97 at age 21, and play'd 141 G for Florida the next season (hitting .233/.318/.414 in 454 ABs) ... so he was a year younger than AG in getting 1st MLB ABs and 2 years younger in getting significant playing time ... so, not so good of a comp ...
