Coming Soon...

All-time Top 100 Padres

Work has begun. We've received positive feedback from several potential contributors, some of whom are among the best-known Padre-voices on the internet. Stay tuned...

And not related to baseball...

I'm going to see Van Morrison tonight. Cool.

Make sure to consult with Kevin Brewer's http://www.padresnation.com/ ... they've had a "Padres Pantheon" on their web site for a couple of years now ... and I've lobbied via email for changes to suit my taste ... it's always a FUN debate!

Kevin is one of the people I contacted while soliciting contributors. I haven't heard back from him.

I don't think his site has been updated for ages, but I thought we might be able to bring him out of retirement.

Hey Lance, If you like Van Morrison, check out his Contractual Obligation Album.

"In order to fulfill his obligation to his early solo label Bang Records,Van Morrison sat down in 1967 or so and cranked out 31 songs on the spot, on topics ranging from ringworm to wanting a danish, to hating his record label and a guy named George."

All of the MP3s are free to download, and uniformly terrible. If you have even a slight masochistic/kitchy streak in you, check it out.

The Lance I know DEFINES "masochistic" and "kitchy"!!! Oh, wait, I have to go look up "kitchy" ... hope it ain't obscene ... not that it makes my statement wrong, just wouldn't want to piss Lance off ...
