Padres Can't Score Runs

Title Track

Might I suggest this lineup for tomorrow:

LF Mark Sweeney
RF Brian Giles
CF Dave Roberts
1B Ryan Klesko
2B Sean Burroughs
SS Geoff Blum
3B Xavier Nady
C Ramon Hernandez
P Jake Peavy

No, really. I'd like to see that.

Well, I don't see anything in that lineup more ridiculous than Miguel Ojeda in RF.

Having Sweeney & Klesko in the same lineup isn't a bad idea, but swap them positionally. Klesko SUCKS as a defensive 1B. He's actually a lot better than he appears as a LF where his athleticism allows him to make up for bad initial reads.

Klesko's Career DT Rate2 as LF: 93, and as 1B: 92.
Sweeney's Career DT Rate2 as LF: 100, and as 1B: 92.

Defensive stats are far perfect, When Klesko plays first, the other infielders' error-totals go way up... He's not above-average, he's just not as bad as he looks in LF.

That's true about the stats. I suppose I'd be happy with it either way.
