Nady Continues to Shine, Part II

Title Track

Xavier Nady: "Oh, put me in, Boch - I'm ready to play today; Put me in, Boch - I'm ready to play today; Look at me, I can be Centerfield... Just to hit the ball and touch 'em all - a moment in the sun; (pop) It's gone and you can tell that one goodbye!"

Bruce Bochy: "Maybe you shouldn't have run over my dog, slept with my wife or whatever it is I'm all bent out of shape about."

Nady has been exceptional in his limited playing time.

When I saw that you included "counting stats," I nearly fell out of my chair. I felt like Kevin Towers, after Burroughs ripped that double.

Nady has been exceptional. I was driving around town today, so I only got to listen to parts of the game on radio. Nady was on the post-game show, and I was so impressed with how he's saying all the right things about being ready when they need him, preparing, etc. I didn't see the homer he hit today but I hear it was pretty impressive. The one he hit Friday night was a bomb. Stuff like that really should get a guy some attention and a little more time in a big-league lineup.
